We got a
cooker today, and it's probably older than the two of us put together.
It came
with a free washing machine - just as old. Technically it didn't as it came
from freecycle so the cooker was also free, but the washing machine wasn't
originally advertised.
Put these
with my 22 year old stereo which was recently reunited with its tape deck and
our recent spree of buying music tapes from the early 90's from charity shops
and we are starting to feel a little retro. Retro is cool if it’s a choice,
right?
Sadly
after working perfectly when it was put on with nothing in to check it worked,
the washing machine has since ceased to work, just as we started to fall in
love with it and it matches the cooker so well. Farewell Ellie, our
not-so-faithful washing machine. You are already greatly missed.
